Based on the edge of the Northumbrian village of Allenheads, we offer excellent skiing and boarding whenever there is snow.
The ski area has a good slope with two rope tows to get you to the top.
We are a volunteer-run, local club. To ski with us you need to join and pay an annual membership fee. Once you are a member you can come along whenever you like.
Please note: We expect to open as normal for the coming season. We will review the need for any Covid guidance as we get closer to the start of the season in November. Lets hope for another winter like last one when we had a good 30 days of snow!
Please check our Frequently Asked Questions page if you need any more information about the club and what we offer.

To get an idea of snow conditions, this webcam at Lanehead in upper Weardale is fairly close to Allenheads and at a similar height.
For the latest snow forecast, check the Allenheads page on the Snow Forecast website.
We update Facebook and Twitter as often as possible when there is the possibility of snow. Updates usually include travel information as well as snow conditions and running times of ski tows.
